Ordering terms
These terms apply when you use petradaily.com.au or order from Petra Daily online. Petra Daily is run by Coffee Rituals Pty Ltd, ABN 33 630 324 024 ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our refund policy and our privacy policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your account
You can browse the menu and build a cart without signing in. To pay, you need an account. We'll confirm your mobile number or email address with a one-time code and ask for your first name, so we know whose order it is.
Keep your account to yourself. You're responsible for orders placed with it. One account per person, please.
Ordering and paying
- Online orders are paid in full when you place them. We don't run tabs or take payment at the counter for online orders.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We email a tax invoice if your account has an email address, and every order gets an on-screen confirmation.
- Your order is confirmed only once your payment goes through. If you take more than a few minutes to pay, the items we were holding for you may be released and you'll need to start again.
- We stop taking online orders five minutes before closing, on days we're closed, and at any other time we need to (for example, when the café is too busy). An item can also sell out or be available only at certain times of day. In those cases checkout won't let you place the order.
- If an item turns out to be unavailable after you've paid, or a price on the site was clearly wrong, we'll contact you and give you a full refund for anything we can't make at the price you paid.
Pickup
- Choose ASAP or a pickup time. ASAP orders are usually ready about 10 minutes after you pay, but times can vary when we're busy. Pickup times are booked in 10-minute slots, and some slots may be full.
- Collect your order from the counter. We'll call it out using the name on your order.
- If you can't collect your order, contact us as soon as you can. We'll sort out uncollected orders case by case.
Ordering at your table
Scan the QR code on your table to order. Your table number goes with your order. We'll bring your order to your table. Please stay at that table, or tell a staff member if you move.
Changing or cancelling an order
Your order goes to our kitchen and coffee machine as soon as you pay, so you can't change or cancel it on the site. If you need to, contact us straight away by speaking to the team at the counter or by email at hello@petradaily.com.au. If we haven't started making it, we'll usually be able to refund you, but it's at our discretion.
Allergies and dietary needs
Our food and drinks are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including milk, eggs, gluten, nuts, sesame and soy. We can't guarantee any item is free from them. If you have an allergy, speak to us before you order.
Offers and vouchers
- Claiming. Enter a code to save its offer to your account. You don't need to enter it again. A shared code (such as one printed on a sign) can be claimed once per account. A unique code can be claimed once only. Some shared codes have a limited number of claims.
- Sign-up offer. Every new account gets a free coffee. It's one per person. You don't have to agree to marketing to get it, or to get any other offer.
- Expiry. An offer may expire on a set date or a set number of days after you claim it. Its expiry is shown in your account. An offer with no expiry shown doesn't expire.
- Using offers. At checkout we automatically apply your saved offers in the way that saves you the most, and you can change which ones are used. A free-item offer applies to the most expensive eligible item. Offers can be used on different items in the same order, but only one offer can apply to each item.
- Used offers. An offer is used up once the order is paid. If the order is refunded, we may return the offer to your account.
- Limits. Offers can't be exchanged for cash, transferred to someone else or used on Uber Eats orders. If an offer is claimed by misuse, for example through several accounts, we may cancel it, or the order it was used on.
- Each offer may have its own conditions, which we'll show with it. If they conflict with these terms, the offer's conditions apply.
Uber Eats
Orders placed through Uber Eats are covered by Uber's terms, not these terms. Our prices on Uber Eats may differ from our own site, and our offers and vouchers don't apply there. Problems with an Uber Eats order, including refunds, are handled through the Uber Eats app.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to get around its security, creating accounts automatically, or interfering with how it works. We may suspend accounts that do. We try to keep the site running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Photos and descriptions show what an item is generally like. What you receive may look a little different.
Our responsibility
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our food, drinks and services come with guarantees that can't be excluded. See our refund policy for what we'll do if something goes wrong. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss that isn't a reasonably foreseeable result of our breaking these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top of this page. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
