Refund policy
We want every order to be right. If it isn't, tell us and we'll fix it.
Your rights
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our food and drinks must be safe, of acceptable quality and as described, and our service must be provided with care and skill. You're entitled to a remedy if they aren't. This policy doesn't limit those rights.
When we'll refund or replace
If something's wrong with your order, we'll offer a replacement or a refund. That includes when an item is:
- wrong or missing;
- not as described on the menu;
- not made properly, or not safe to eat or drink.
The quickest way to sort it out is to tell the team at the counter when you collect or receive your order. They can replace the item on the spot. Otherwise, email hello@petradaily.com.au with your order number and what went wrong.
We also refund you in full if we can't make something you've paid for, for example because it sold out after you ordered.
Change of mind
We don't have to give refunds if you change your mind, order the wrong thing or no longer want an order, because it's made fresh as soon as you pay. Talk to us anyway. If we haven't started making it, we'll usually be able to help. See changing or cancelling an order.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. They usually show within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
- We can refund all of an order or just part of it.
- If an offer or voucher was used on the order, we may return it to your account as well.
- If the order was covered entirely by offers, we'll return the offer instead of paying money back.
Uber Eats orders
For problems with an order placed through Uber Eats, request a refund in the Uber Eats app. Uber handles refunds for those orders.
